Candidate Self-Nomination Form - 2020 As of May 1st, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order No. 202.26 which modifies the rules under which school districts are to conduct the 2020 annual meeting for the election of school board members and budget votes. May 11, 2020 - Deadline for candidates to file nomination and deadline for filing voter petitions. There will be no minimum threshold number of signatures required for individuals to be placed on the ballot, except that they must meet all other requirements, including applicable residency and age. Candidates will be listed on the ballot alphabetically. Prospective School Board Members Workshop (sponsored by Dutchess County School Boards Association) NYSSBA - The School Board Member Experience - www.nyssba.org/experience Absentee Ballot Application (On or around March 19th) (Please note that the completed application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the vote on May 19, 2020 if the ballot is to be mailed or the day before the vote if the ballot will be picked up personally by the voter.) |
